Mumps Outbreak

Hello, I was wondering what everyone thought about the Mumps outbreak in the Netherlands. I wasn't too concerned when I read about it about it a month ago but on Friday my husband got an e-mail alert from his company regarding it. What are you thoughts?

I am bit surprised about the outbreak because there is an exceptional high vax rates.

Mumps do not scare me I had it as a child and know loads of ppl who went through it without any probs.

I agree with Summermay, I'm not too concerned about mumps since I had them as a kid too. I don't vax Aidan so if he is exposed he will have them as a kid and that's fine.

I think they can be dangerous to men who have not had them since it can go from the salivary glands to the testes and cause a lot of pain and even infertility.

But hey I'm no doctor!
