How long after m/c until your cycles were normal again?? UPDATE

I'm getting crazy with these messed up cycles, ladies! Please share with me, if you want, how long it took before your cycles were normal after m/c. Our baby was lost February 20th. I have since been having 30-day cycles without ovulating, until I finally O'd June 10th or so. For the first time. And it was on day 23 of my cycle. Now it seems like AF is just around the corner, like 2 days away. How can I get my period like one week after I ovulate? ?? WHEN are things going to normalize? What if they NEVER normalize? I get nervous sometimes that my body will never be normal again.... We are TTC and this is making me nuts.

Do you gals think there is anything I can do to help my cycles and especially ovulation be regular again? I'm sick of this craziness. At least I don't feel hormonal and stuff. Or maybe I'm ALWAYS hormonal now and have lost touch with what "normal" feels like!

It took me until the 3rd cycle post miscarriage to ovulate and have a normal length cycle. :hug

MY cycles are still wacky and I miscarried in January. They are on the short side, and I get stupid spotting for days and days before AF finally shows. This last AF was the worst, I spotted for I think 5 days before the witch finally showed. Then AF stops for 24 hours, then I'll get a gush of blood when I least expect it the next day.

I'm starting Vitex as soon as I get it (can't seem to find some where to get it!) to hopefully regulate everything. I'm sure my progesterone is out of whack, whihc is causing the spotting. Its been very annoying.

Mine were pretty normal right away. I MC'd at 10 weeks though, so I don't know if that made any difference.... oh, and I started Vitex after I got my first AF after the MC.

:hug Our miscarriage started on January 2nd. Things are still off for me. The cycles are LONG and irregular. I started taking vitex the first week of February, and I started getting lax with it in April. I think it helped. I just ordered more, but it is on back order.

It's weird, but I finally ovulated one week ago (on the 9th or 10th) and yesterday, I got really, really light spotting. I was like, HUH? I wonder if it's implantation?? That would be an absolute riot, my first ovulation....but I'm DEFINITELY not getting my hopes up.

I think miscarriage is one of the rottenest things ever. Just for the record.

I didn't tell DH about the spotting. I don't want to freak him out. I ordered a new batch of progesterone just in case. No more spotting today. It was just a brief little bit of discharge with a pink tinge. I had implantation spotting with one of our babies. I am really curious now.

I had my D&C 2 weeks ago and had no Post d&C spotting or bleeding.. Ive bene really busy and active and now the past 2 days Ive had (TMI sorry) dark red bleeding and I have no clue if its AF or from the D&C:o
How would I ever know?? TY

I would say that it's likely, very likely, to be AF. Probably your pregnancy hormones very already very low at the time of the D&C and it took only a short time for your cycles to start again. I'm so sorry for your loss. That is terrible. I had a bunch of cycles after the D&C where I did NOT ovulate, so watch out for that. I thought if I got my period, I was for sure O'ing, but apparently they were eggless cycles! WEIRD.

I started my progesterone yesterday to be on the safe side, since I have low progesterone normally and right now it's even lower. The progesterone is making me bloated and bitchy and hot hot hot. I keep telling myself, it might be for a good cause. I can do an HPT next Monday or Tuesday if AF has not shown up by then (unlikely.) DH thinks I'm nuts to want one more but he goes along with it. He likes "trying" too much to resist! :D

Gotta go. The older kids have to get their teeth cleaned. Since they are just fighting today, at least the dentist appointment will make the damned fighting stop!!

OOOH I hope you get your BFP!! and I hope this is AF for me! Im going to my Dr tom anyways for my post D&C appt. I took metformin to concieve my other 2 so I hope I will be back on it soon to TTC another:thumb How many kids do you have? we have 2 one is 4 the other is 19 months and I want 4 .. I think DH will be done after 3 since he was really sone at 2 but then we got pregnant and now he wants another:love

freestyler, I m/c the day after you and my cycles are still not normal either. I think I am o'ing but my LPs are short.
Very bizarre. And i was only 7w1d when I m/c.

I really hope the spotting is implantation. I do have to say though that I had spotting at 7 and 8 DPO in 2 of the cycles since the m/c and I have never had spotting before in my life.

Yup, I'm sure we will all straighten out eventually! This is the most "normal" cycle I've had yet! That gives me lots of hope, even if I'm not preggers.

I just had my first cycle. My m/c began 4/2 and expelled 5/2. The m/c bleeding began 4/30. Then my period began 6/4. We're trying again now. Does anyone know whether getting a surge with an OPK means you definitely O'd? If so, I got my surge on the 17th. Hopefully, I won't know about my periods being regular again for another 18 mos or so!

oh, and I started Vitex ....

What is that? Is it presciption? FDA tested? What can you tell me?

I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2006 (about 2 years ago) and lost a tube. Ever since then, my periods have been way off. None of them are alike- the same length or style. Any ideas? We did mc one more time after that, Oct. 2006. No preg since then. Oct. 2007, I went to OB-GYN about infertility, but she wasn't concerned. She said I'm too young to be worrying about it. I've been of child-bearing age for 10 years! I think that I should be more even by now. Especially since I was a 28 day cycle girl with periods I could set my watch by before the tubal. Anyway, I'm just frustrated. It's been a lot of cycles of "not pregnant" again. I realize that many of you have been doing all this a lot longer than I have, but that's why I thought that writing in would be good.
