I just got a prescription for diclectin yesterday and the relief is amazing. I haven't vomited in nearly 24 hours now.
The only bummer is that I feel really groggy but that is vastly preferable to being sick and dizzy and not being able to eat.
I was really hoping I wold be able to handle the sickness naturally this time but I lost almost 10 pounds in 10 days so I needed to do something.

I started my diclectin on Friday, it was more for non-stop nausea that was making it impossible for me to eat (I would just gag if I tried, couldn't get anything down really). Until today I hadn't actually vomited but I did 3 times this morning in a matter of minutes, I had enough time to try to drink some water to have something in there between getting sick and that was it! I really hoped that would give me at least a couple hours of feeling ok after but within 30 minutes I felt incredibly nauseous again. I called the motherisk line for NVP and they said to start taking Zantac 150 twice a day to help with my acid problem (I have it all the time but it makes m/s worse) and to give the diclectin until Wednesday and then we'll up the dose if I'm still sick. I also had my naturopath include the nausea spots for my acupuncture last Thursday, so far nothing is helping. I think the worst part is the constant nausea and feeling like I'm going to be sick even when I don't vomit.
I hope you continue to feel better on the diclectin! :thumb

I wound up throwing up twice today even with the diclectin but I am hoping it will really kick in for me in the next couple of days.

I pick up my meds today, I'm so happy! I've been sick all weekend and too weak to do much at the end of the day b/c I can hardly eat. I don't puke, but spend a lot of time wishing I could sometimes. I must be having a boy, my dd didn't do this to me, but my boys weren't this bad either!
