I have this pregnancy book my mom gave me when I was pregnant with the twins. For the most part I hate it (it's not as bad as "What to expect" but...) but I do like to read the weekly update of what the baby is looking like and growing, etc.
So it says that during week 5 the embryo is the size of a grain of sand and by week 6 it is the size of an M&M! Isn't that an amazing amount of growth! Just thought I'd share.

I was just talking upthread about the journal I used last time (and got a new one for this time too :)) that I love and it has the same things -- talks about the amniotic sac being the size of a grape, and the baby is the size of a sesame seed (for me, this past week, at least). It's really cool:
The Pregnancy Journal (http://www.amazon.com/Pregnancy-Journal-Day-Day-Healthy/dp/0811846970/ref=pd_bbs_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1213672674&sr=8-2)
But my all time favorite pg book is Penny Simkin's Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn. Love that book. :)

I had that journal with my DS too, and I loved reading every day what developments took place and such. I am thinking about getting another one for this pregnancy.

This isn't a journal like you guys are talking about, but I like www.babycrowd.com. I used it last time from about 4 or 5 months, and started early this time.
