Got my first good set today. :joy:

8dpo- "neg" hcg, 19.7 progesterone
17dpo- 522 hcg, 33.3 progesterone

Going to test again Monday and Wednesday.

So according to betabase, 292 is average for hcg, so I'm a little high. :D
I'm reading for progesterone, 20 is average for 4 weeks, with 10-90 being the normal range for first trimester. So that's a bit high too. :D

Domer, are you taking prog supplements to get numbers that high? High progesterone usually means higher success rates!

i got my first results today, they were taken monday :

13 DPO

hcg : 57.8
pro : 19.7

i had another draw done today and will get the results tomorrow. i wasn't expecting numbers above 50 since at 12DPO i got the faintest of faint lines on my HPT so i figured i was at barely 25 then (that's the lowest amt of hcg the brand i use detects)

What are betas and what do they mean?

daschund_mom - I take 200mg prometrium daily, which is why my progesterone is so high. I was taking it for a LP defect, so now I'm stuck w/ it till week 13 I think.

puff - the beta test measures the level of HcG in your blood (same thing a HPT measures). If there are issues w/ your pregnancy, som people go get 2 betas done, usually 48-72 hours apart, to measure the "doubling time". the #'s should double in 24-72 hours.
