Sorry if this should go under breastfeeding, but any time I post somewhere asking for specific brands, no one in North America can really help me so that's why I'm posting here.

Long story short, I asked my mother ages ago to get me a My Brest Friend stateside and bring it this month, and she just informed me that she's not going to do it. It's not sold in Denmark at all, and I can't find a German or UK site that will ship to Denmark. So I need to find something else. :irked:

All I can find here is the Boppy which I'm not impressed with. I really like how the MBF is firmer. Is there something similar that I can get in or shipped to Denmark? The closest I've found is this (http://www.amazon.de/Pinolino-52543-3-Stillmond-Streifen-grün/dp/B0015Y67MA/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1218531352&sr=8-8), but I'm not wild about the extra panel in front. Anyone used this? Does that panel make it any harder to put on or take off?

If you haven't already ordered, you can also get one at Mamanana (http://www.mamanana.com).

thos people sometimes ship overseas.

other than that word of cution...

there is this thing anty nursing pillows these days because
they caused some deaths.. it is really not safe to use them.
people do use them and make htem and sell them but
just beware.. it contributes to sids

because baby can't flip over and sometimes sleepy mama
just fells asleep and baby accidentally ends up face down on pillow..

be careful do as you wish.

I know there is tons of different articles just google nursing pillows and sids..

just an example..

Thanks for the link but I already got one from the UK. I was looking for places in Europe anyway, to avoid import duties.

As to the danger, that sounds like suffocation, not SIDS, and the link you provide cautions against using them as sleep aids or leaving baby with them unattended. It says nothing about using them as nursing pillows. Really, there isn't much you should leave with an unattended or sleeping baby!
