Yet Another Chiro in Tucson thread...

Ok here we go again. Has anyone found a chiro they really love in Tucson. I know it seems at least half of us are all mourning Dr Fournier who seems to have fallen off the face of the planet.

Here's the deal though: I'm actually moving away from Tucson in 10 days. My back is killing me, I need to be adjusted sooo bad. I'm going to be flying alone with 2 kids and 2 giant car seats...not to mention I'm not going to have any help getting to the airport so up to the ticket counter I will somehow have to handle my 4 yr old, 1 yr old, 2 suitcases and the 2 car seats :( I NEED my back to stop hurting and I really think all I need is a quick adjustment.

I'm hoping I can find someone who will take pity on me and not charge me new patient fees and all that since I'll likely just be getting one adjustment.

So anyone? I've been to At Ease long ago and did not care for them at all. I also went to Demith a long time ago but then I sort of ditched her to go to Fournier and now I don't really feel like I can go back...plus, she wasn't all that spectacular anyways.

Have you tried The Joint? There is one on the eastside now. They charge $20 I think.

Have you heard of Michelle Rupe Switzer? She's pretty good! She's a homebirth mom and does babies and pregnant women too. Her fees are pretty reasonable. If you search Switzer family chiropractic I think you'll find her contact info.

I've been seeing Michelle too, her adjustments are definately gentler than Dr. Fournier's, but when I've seen her with specific complaints they have all cleared up:)

Michelle is great. She adjusted me while pregnant and me and the baby after the birth. All of our problems cleared up immediately. She's incredibly gentle and just seems to really know what she's doing.

Michelle Switzer worked on my newborn yesterday, and he is like a different baby now. I cannot rave enough about Dr. Switzer. Halfway through the appointment my son got fussy and she stopped and asked me if I wanted to nurse him before we went on, it was very thoughtful. Her and her husband, who works there, are so kind and full of all sorts of information. We talked about cloth diapers, vaccines, pacifiers.
And as for my son, after his adjustment he slept for 7 hours, which was nice. And his fussiness is gone, he is so much more comfortable in his body, and has stopped constantly leaning to the right. I'm very impressed at the huge difference it made!

What does Dr. Switzer charge? Does she do cranio as well?

Just saw Dr. Switzer - SHE'S TERRIFIC. She takes insurance so we just had our $10 copay! :joy:
