I think this would be a great idea and many mamas have names of peds to contribute. Please include city, contact info, and whether they take insurance.

If we compile a nice list I'll see about getting it made into a sticky.

Dr. Monique Maly MD
Conifer (303) 838-5880
takes insurance

Dr. Adam Blanning MD
Denver (303)404-9199
does not take insurance

Dr. Philip Incao MD
Crestone (719)256-5647

Dr. Steinbock does not take insurance. However he would be an extremely friendly option for a non-vaccinating family. I have spoken with him before personally and would love to see him but DH doesn't want to pay OOP when we have insurance. :eyesroll

Heather Fliege is great, but a warning is that if your child needs something out of the ordinary she will refer you to a ped. This may or may not work for your family (didn't for mine).

We are now seeing Dr. Rolfson at Centennial Valley peds and they made me sign a vax waiver but she is happy to see the kids and doesn't push me on the vax issue.

Pediatric Pathways
Dr. Joseph Marceny & Dr. Adam Huff
(303) 694-2323
6909 S Holly Cir, #150, Centennial, CO 80112

They are delay/selective/non vaxing friendly, breastfeeding friendly, cosleeping friendly, and they take insurance. They are close to the metro area (10 minute drive from central Denver), and they are really knowledgeable about allergies.

He's a family practice doc, not a ped, but we are liking him alot.

Dr. Mark Wisner, DO
303-423-1360
Arvada

He does give out some very mainstream literature about infant development, but he's never questioned my decisions about vaxing and has never touched ds' (intact) penis during an exam. I know that he is very supportive of breastfeeding as well.

Dr. Kent Herbert
Falcon (just northeast of CSprings)
719-494-2006

I absolutely love our doctor!! His name is Dr. Kent Herbert and his office is in Falcon CO which is just northeast of Colorado Springs. He is very nonvax friendly and a very hands off dr. He always tells us his opinion for treatment (usually very hands off) and then tells us what a more aggressive dr would recommend, letting us decide what type of route we would like to take. He is very thoughtful and always takes his time talking with us and answering any questions we have. :thumb

Any in Colorado Springs? (I checked the website of the Dr. in Falcon and they are not accepting any new patients probably until late 2009!)

We also see Dr. d'Angelo and love him!! The one problem we've encountered though is that it is nearly impossible to get into him for acute appointments. If it were something really critical I would call the MA and ask if they could squeeze the kids in, but otherwise you end up seeing another practicioner at Clinix.

We had a great first experience with Anne Schuller, MPAS, PA-C for an acute appointment. We stood and talked about different things for about 30 minutes- she was great (although we've only seen her once).

Previously, we saw Carolyn Green, NP, and I will never see her again. I took my LO in for an ear infection and I asked her about her stance on VAX. She is VERY pro vax. The thing that was most disturbing to me were her comments on HIB. She informed me that HIB is a VIRAL infection!!!!:angry When I commented nicely that HIB is bacterial she was insistent that I was wrong and that antibiotics don't work because it's "viral". Other than her lack of information on VPD, she was very personable and did a great job interacting with the baby- FWIW.
