Anyone having symptoms already? I sure don't remember this with my first DS, but I'm having to pee a lot more and my breasts are tender. I'm also getting mild headaches everyday about the same time, but it doesn't last too long...thank goodness.

Everyone else doing ok otherwise?

No symptoms yet for me, other than a little cramping here and there! We are camping this weekend and I don't want to feel miserable for that so I'm glad I still feel good.

I am definitely having symptoms already, specifically itchy nipples and really tender breasts. Nothing unbearable, but I am certainly noticing it.

With E, those were my first symptoms too. I managed to get through my last pregnancy with very little morning sickness. I hope I get as lucky this time around. I HATE being sick.

Being my first one, I can't tell what i'm feeling! hahaha, I am looking for symptoms but nothing yet really, just peeing about twice a night. My lower back on the right side has been tight and slightly sore, I will ask the doc what this means when I see her in 2 days,
Just wondering if any one else has had this?

I'm on progesterone supplements started soon after O, so I've been feeling "symptoms" for days. Sore boobs, dizziness, fatigue...lots of fun.

With my ds, I got the sore boobs at about 12dpo (wasn't charting then) and the tired/dizzy/starving/peeing constantly symptoms soon after.

What form and dosage progest do you take? I'm going to a naturopath and she just called my progest rx in today (lozenges 100mg). My progest levels were 10 at about 3 1/2 wks. I hope everything will be ok. I have to go back to get tested again this Friday.

Do you ever go to a chiro for back pain? I have the same kind of pain, but I think something's just out of whack for me :o.

Hope you feel better soon...Kate

My OB has me on oral progesterone, 100mg 3x a day. It's actually a bit of a precautionary, stop-gap sort of thing...with the 3 chemicals I've had in the last year, she didn't want to just do nothing, but she can't get me in for any appointment until next month, she's booked so solid. So...this was a "well, it can't hurt, and it might just be why you're having problems, so let's try it" prescription. :o I'll be POAS at home again tomorrow morning, and as long as it's still + (:fingersx:), I'll go for bloodwork at the lab on Wed. and my OB'll call me to tell me what we'll be doing from there.

ETA: It didn't work. So...I guess it's not a progesterone problem. :(

Here's my list...

7do up to today... Sore nipples. Not debilitating, just sore, like I treated them roughly, which I didn't. :)
9dpo... I had odd feelings in my uterus, not cramping exactly, but it went on all day. I actually thought AF was going to come early. I'm having a little bit of the same feeling tonight (11dpo).
9dpo up to today... A constant urge to swallow, like something is stuck in the back of my throat. I looked in the mirror with a flashlight and found that I have swollen (tastebuds?) at the very back of my tongue. Apparently this is another symptom.
11dpo... Just this evening I have started to pee alot, but that could be physcoscymatic. :)

I'm pretty tired...much more than last time. A little nausea here and there, which makes me worry! Last pregnancy I had hyperemesis (severe vomitting about 10 x/day) and I lost 15% of my body weight by week 14. I ended up in the hospital for a few days until I could get rehydrated and gain some weight back. Sooooo, each time I feel a wave of nausea, I just pray that I won't be going through that again. Every pregnancy is different so I'll keep putting it out there that this will be a healthy and safe pregnancy!!!

14DPO today.

I haven't had anything to write home about. On Friday I was slightly nauseated for most of the day, so I think that my body was just getting used to the first wave of hormones. I've felt great ever since.

I'm probably a little bunged up, so I'll have to remember to up my fibre intake. :D Judging from my previous pregnancies, I will probably get tender nips in the next month or so and that's about it until the SPD kicks in. It was debilitating last time, until I saw a chiro. Actually, I may book an appointment with her early this time 'round.

Don't you just love this!!!? :joy:

For me, I've been super tired, my boobs ACHE, and I have to pee a lot. I usually have to pee a lot though, so I don't know if it's the pregnancy or just because I've been drinking more fluids. The boobs are killing me though! Last time it was just my nipples. If they brushed against anything, including my bra, I got little shockwaves. This time they just feel heavy and ache all over.

My symptoms started before I even got my bfp. Full sore breasts, peeing all of the time, gassy and very overly emotional, I think that every thing hurts my feeling or makes me mad, I don`t remeber feeling like that with my other pregnancies and I really don`t like feeling so emotional.

I decided to jump on the boards after trying to start lunch and getting the dreaded nausea. I wasn't expecting that yet, I had hoped to avoid that for a few weeks. I am preg with #3, with my first I was sick from 8/9 weeks until month 7, with #2 from 7-10 weeks, but not at 5 weeks as this one is beginning. If this keeps up I will either gain 1000 pounds from snacking on crackers and cheese or go crazy with nausea.

I am thinking crazy may be better after all....

Not in your DDC but I am keeping an eye on stevi and I have had FOUR DAYS of really wild dreams (three that I can remember) and I couldn't help but share. :shy I hope you don't mind

dream 1 (this is the good one) : Me and someone, no one that I knew, were evacuated from my grandparents house because of zombies. I had to round up some things that I wanted to take I instead of my backpacking pack I put it in duffel bags and slung them over my back. I had to get my moms dog and this bassett hound out with us (why I didn't take my own dogs? IDK) we ended up in a mall (zombies remember?) where my unknown partner doesn't want to carry his stuff and sets it on a bench, when I tell him he has to carry it he pulls a really really really tiny black gun on me. (the gun was like 2 inches long:lol) A friend from Highschool that I haven't seen since HS was a mall rent a cop and tackled him :shrug

dream 2 : My boss was following me around a house party like he wanted weed or beer or something from me. No matter where I went (ie the store, the movies) he would pop out of nowhere and say "Hi Hi what are you up to?"

Dream 3: I was in school but I was a TA or a Teacher and one of the chefs that instructed me was a student. He kept correcting me and telling me how he does things. Then when we went outside he asked me to a party with some of the other teachers. It was strange, my mind couldn't decide if he was a student or a teacher!

sorry that got long, but I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in 4 days. Maybe telling someone about them will make them go away!

symptoms so far... just peeing, semi-sore boobs, sometime let down tingle, which is weird... we stopped nursing a few months ago, so it's weird to feel it now.
I'm a little more hungry, but the biggest symptom for me is EXHAUSTION! I could sleep 12 hours a day. It is always like this for me. This is baby 5 for us.

oh, hb = heartbeat

with my DS my OB was able to show me the heartbeat movement really clearly on the u/s, then last time he thought he saw something but realized it was just a uterine contraction - that was the time I had the m/c. :( He mentioned that when you see the heartbeat the m/c risks drops quite a bit. I guess it marks a milestone in development.

This time though I don't know if my midwife does u/s or not.

Symptoms thus far:

Sore, heavy (bigger!) boobs
Insanely frequent peeing
Forgetfulness/ day dreaming (may or may not be related)

And thats it! I feel great. I had a really clear positive, so I was expecting symptoms to hit hard, but not so far. I estimate myself to be about 5 weeks along so I guess I could pop in late April, but early May seems more likely.

well for starters, about two weeks ago i burst into tears over nothing, and BF says "don't worry baby, you're just pregnant" (totally joking)

so last week when i found out (surprise!!) i asked him why he always had to be right about my moodiness....he got the hint right away!

the boobs/nips...i threatened to make him walk behind me all day and hold them up!!! sooooo sore

lots of weird vivid dreams which is normal for me anyway, but these seem a little more intense. actually giggled when i woke up this morning and had to pee and i'd been dreaming of trying to find a bathroom all over a huge house! LOL

yesterday was THE worst for gas pain. felt like a terrible stabbing pain in my diaphragm and lots of pressure. Thanks dad for the marinated zuchinni, squash, peppers and carrots salad!!!

is there any safe thing to take for gas during pregnancy??? (asking here just since i haven't bugged around the net for answers yet...) feeling MUCH better this morning!!

is feeling spaced out and a bit overwhelmed by little things symptoms??

have some pressure/cramps from time to time too, but all i read about that it seems to be normal!!!

congrats mamas!!! this is definitely exciting!!!

nothing :( I know I should enjoy not feeling like crap, but I'd feel better if I had some reassurance. It's only 4 wks, so I know this is normal, but I want to feel pregnant.

What is nuts is every other time we've tried I had no trouble imagining I had every symptom in the book. I was so sure each time that we were pregnant - but now that I actually have positive preganancy tests strewn all over the house (I take at least one a day to make sure it's still positive) I can't feel a thing.

Man, this time around, I'm feeling so pregnant it's nuts. At (about?) 1 week after ovulation, I knew. I was famished, and I told DH I felt like someone put me on the wrong meds. I took 2 tests that weekend with no sure positive. The next weekend, I got my BFP.

Hi there- you don't have to throw up to have "morning sickness" the name really just covers a broad range of stomach related symptoms that can vary greatly as to when during the day you get them or how early in the pregnancy you get it. There is a technical term for the severe (10 + times a day) throwing up that some women get- but I don't remeber what it is.
Anyway, I don't think 4 weeks is too early. With my son I got it a little later (maybe 6 weeks?) but it was the same thing-- no throwing up, just feeling sick. You can probably anticipate feeling worse in the next few weeks. Once my stomach turned the deep in the bones fatigue kicked in not far behind it. But luckily that phase doesn't last too long for most. You've probably heard this before but eating frequent small amounts helped a ton with the sickness part.
This time I am really really early -- only 11 DPO today-- but I am getting that "pit" in the stomach feeling off and on already. We'll see what happens...

Which is not to say I won't complain about it. :D

Ugh. I am sick every minute of the day usually. It gets worse at 3 o'clock. But I am not a puker. So I don't. But I commented on a thread recently that totally explained how I feel. Like someone food processed my insides. I feel like I have a nasty swill of bubbling goo in my stomach and its HORRIBLE!

I had nausea for like 3 days with my son so this is really getting to me. :( Especially since eating doesn't help like it did with him.

But I will say I have no boob symptoms. Not sore, big, tingly, purple, veiny, or anything!!

The food aversions are slowly starting. I had them bad with my second and mildly with my first. They suck either way. Right now I am struggling to eat something in the morning, I nosh on crackers for a while then try and get something else in me. Today I'm trying a smoothie.

But typically for me if I don't eat often enough, which is a minimum of every 2 hr I get sick and yucky and the longer I go the less I want to eat. Which just gets worse. So I am going to try very hard to fend it off as best I can this month.

I just started having symptoms in the past few days. I first noticed the other night when I took my bra off that my breasts were bigger and "floppier" and they are a little tender and sore when they are first released from the bra ( but not most of the day oddly). Mostly they are tender around the outside edged near the chest. And today I am noticing an increase sensitivity to flavors and smells. I am not really nauseous, but I keep feeling really hungry, so I eat, but certain foods don't taste "right" and it hard for me to keep eating them (even though I am hungry). I seem to prefer salty and tart/sour flavors right now. Orange juice, pickles, and yogurt seem to make my tummy happy -- honey flavored cereal O's, sweet corn and pasta, and the fake sweetened numbing goo at the dentist all make my tummy displeased.

Not having to pee a ton lately so that's good and while I can smell things a mile away I am not very nauseous yet. Otherwise just crampy with the occasional twinge in my cervix. I feel good I guess.

Nursing is a bit painful but not any different than if AF was about to arrive. Complete exhaustion is usually the first symptom for me but I welcome it because I have insomnia and get the best sleep of my life during pregnancy :p No bloating here but I usually blow up around 9-10 weeks and just get enormous from there on out. I only had occasionally nausea with DS so I'm hoping to get lucky again and avoid any throwing up this time around.

Sometimes you bloat in early pregnancy. I am, too. My jeans are all so tight on my lower abdomen they make me all sore. I only wear them when I'm going out. haha.

At 5 weeks and 4 days - the gassiness and burping has come down to a level I can live with, thank goodness. The cramps are also easing up. But now my breasts are always tender (they bother me at night especially) and I get waves of nausea during the day. It only lasts 2-5 minutes but for that time I feel like the worst flu I've ever had has just hit me - I got very hot, my head starts to swim and my stomach starts doing flip flops. Ick.

Last week's symptoms:
Sore nipples.
Being woken up at 3AM by the need to pee.
Some cramping.
Creamy CF.
Some bloating by the end of the day.

This week's symptoms (so far):
Nipples sore, even more so, oww.
Larger breasts. But no bump yet, so I just look like I have much nicer, fuller breasts, tee-hee.
Nightly need to pee. Urgent need to pee often during the day now.
Still cramping (kind of worries me sometimes b/c I'm paranoid).
Creamy CF, but I don't think nearly as much as last week. Hard to tell though.
Some bloating by the end of the day.

No nausea/vomiting yet. I kind of think I will get it still. Also, I have no noticeable bump. The belly pics this week and last week look exactly the same, except (I think) my breasts look bigger this week. By the end of the day, I look slightly bigger there, but by the next morning, the bloating has gone away, and I look smaller again. Weird.

so, I never had one whit of nausea with DS, but I've been feeling little "waves" of it that come and go rather fleetingly, usually right after I've even something or if I'm hungry. Does that count?

I am only 13 DPO so I feel silly posting my symptoms but I have to say that FATIGUE has been the one I have been noticing the most. Serious serious fatigue. In my last pregnancy that didn't hit til at least 5 or 6 weeks.

And i have been having really strong cravings for orange juice and vegetables! I feel like I could drink a whole gallon of OJ! :)

oh and this is really bad. 2 nights ago, dh got close to me and the smell of his breath made me feel like I was 2 seconds away from getting sick. I had to push him away! (and no normally his breath is not vomit inducing) I felt so bad. I think I have an increased sensitivity to smells.

oh and peeing non stop. Im normally the woman with the iron bladder so this is really annoying. I can't believe it started this early.

and a crampy tightness in my lower abdomen but not like my normal cramps. lower down and not as painful, just weird feeling.

Me! Me! Me! I am exhausted. I WANT to sleep. But I can't! It takes forever to fall asleep, I wake up every hour or two and lay there for a while trying to go back to sleep, then I'm up at the crack of dawn. I'm surprised I haven't collapsed yet.

Other than that, I've had mild cramping, a lower back ache, and my boobs are hot and painful, but that seems to come and go. Also, some nausea in the AM.

Yep, exactly this. I can NOT get to sleep. It's really really awful and I know I bother Aaron at night too. Not to mention I feel sleep deprived during the day.

Nausea is terrible. It feels like I ate something awful or have a stomach bug and I should just throw up to get rid of it. It sucks to think that no amount of puking will make it feel better.

Ok, so the nausea has been working for a while now and I have been hoping for a bit of relief. I'm coughing, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, fevers, sweats, muscle aches, back aches, headaches...

My nausea is the worst yet today. I woke up this morning and had some cereal and then when my DH woke up I fell sleep on the couch for a few hours. When I woke up I dragged myself to the bathroom and had the sweats and went potty and then laid on the floor in the bathroom for a while because the tile felt cool. I was feeling like I might throw up but I'm such a non puker that I couldn't do it. I dragged myself out of the bathroom and drank a huge glass of water and ate some bread and butter and felt a bit better. But now a few hours later I am shaky and sweaty and breathless and nauseas and I just want to CRY!

I took my vitamins last night and instantly got nauseous. Once it settled I went to bed where I woke all night from dreams and feeling yucky and hot. I woke this morning came down stairs and was hit hard with a huge wave of nausea. OMG I instantly got so HOT and had to go to the bathroom. After pooing and laying down not moving for a few minutes I felt a little better. But even now 2.5 hrs later I am still feeling wobbly.

The funny thing is that last night DH and I were talking and he starts going on about how its just 1 girl and I jokingly said and 1 boy. I keep having these thoughts of twins, it's really weird? He says I jinxed myself :p
