Hey folks! I just wanted to see who else was out here in my neck of the woods.
I was hoping to connect with some others, I need adult conversation! :)

I'm not in Gresham, but for all you pregnant and/or breastfeeding mamas my friend Melissa leads a La Leche League meeting that meets the 3rd Monday of every month in Gresham=) I have always loved connecting with mamas at LLL meetings=)

I'm not in Gresham - we're east of 205 though, does that count? :wink
Between Gateway and Mall 205, and it takes no time at all to get to Gresham from here....
Sorry ladies I left you all hangin'. My little guy is teething something fierce and his big fat teardrops make me cry. I just wish there was something more I could do for him you know?

I actually went to the last meeting and it was neat-o! :) I just wish I could see these ladies all the time!:wink
We moved here last year and I have yet to find a friend, a pal, a confidant. I guess I just feel a bit isolated. :eyesroll I'm a new mom, and we're the only family in our apartment complex.
Where can I go to meet other mom's?
Where can I find a play group in this area?
:wave I am not in Gresham but in Sandy.
What type of play groups are you looking for? There is the story time at the library. The ballet class my DD goes to in Gresham has a mommy and me class for the little ones. Have you checked out the parks and rec. guide? I know in Sandy they have classes for toddlers. And there is some type of Mom's group that I see signs for on the bulletin board at Fred Meyer's here in Sandy... check the Gresham one for something similar.
ETA: OK I looked at your siggy and see your lo is too young for most of this stuff. I would check for local mom's groups then. :)

I usually attend the NE meetings, but went once to the Gresham meeting, and we had a gathering yesterday with both groups at Blue Lake Park. They are a great group of mamas! Of course new mamas come all the time, too=):joy:
