Another Metrowest Get-Together (Tuesday 26th @ 10am)

For those who missed the most recent one, let's plan another meetup for next week.

Edited with the chosen date/time:
Tuesday the 26th at 10am.
Elm Bank Reserve in Wellesley (rte 16, near Natick line).
Meet IN Weasie's Garden (has huge adirondack chair and a small gazebo tower, also has a sand play area).

Although there is LOTS of space for kids to run around, there isn't an actual playground there. There is a kids area (which is where we'll meet) but it's a good idea to bring outdoor games if you think you're child would like that.
Bring sunblock and bug spray just in case.

Last year, there was a sprinkler of sorts that the kids could cool off in. I don't know if they still have it but you may want to keep that in mind (bring a change of clothing).

Please post here which day you prefer and we will go with the majority.

I don't know if I want to put a colicky baby in the car for 20 mins, but if we come it will be just me, Maia, & Ryan. And I can't stay too long because my husband wants to go to work (on his day off :eyesroll ).
But you know what I look like Liz, just add 30 pounds preggo weight :o .

I feel bad for not giving specific directions on how to find the part of the park we were meeting in. I hope everyone found us. :o

We had 9 mama's (I think) and many children. The weather was beautiful and the flowers were so pretty!

Our next outing with probably be at the Natick Organic Farm.

Now that school will be starting though, it may be tricky to set up. I would only be available during afternoons. (wednesdays are probably out for me because I'm a Storyteller and will be doing Story Times every Wednesday afternoon.

I took some pics (not too many as I had to keep chasing ds around). But I will make an album on photoshop for the pics.

We had a great time too! I also missed out on a lot of mommy conversation due to chasing my son around. I'm looking forward to the next one - Natick Org. Farm sounds great to me! Afternoons are also good for me.

Thanks Liz for organizing and picking the Elm Bank Reserve! We have been wanting to go there and it was really great.

We had a great time. Ryan didn't want to leave.
Ryan will be in kindergarten until 3pm, but the other boys are free on fridays in the morning, and Nate on M/W, I'd just have to be back to pickup AJ from preschool by 11:45 am. And Nate still naps. And Maia often cries in the car.
So...I guess what I'm saying, LOL, is that anywhere within 30 mins of us we could come on:
M/W - 9:30-11:15am
F - 9:15-noon
Otherwise I'd have to do it on a T/F when my husband is home for Nate's nap and kindergarten pickup.
So yeah, just ignore me, I'm difficult :p :o .
