Hi mamas,
I'm fairly new to making my own household cleaners, but experienced enough to know I should buy the basics in bulk. :)
Where have you found the best places to buy items such as borax, washing soda, vinegar, dr. bronners, in bulk?
I've heard frontier might be a good place, but in order to meet the $250 (for no s/h) I'd need to place an order with a few other mamas.
Thanks for any help! :)

Can't help you with the bulk question, but I am really interested in starting to make my own cleaners. Do you have a good resource on-line or otherwise that you can direct me to?

Hi Sandra:p
I have a great book that I use to make all my own cleaning products and a ton of other random 'green' things.... I can't remember the name of it (I am not at home) but I will post again later when I get home- or you can check it out on sunday...
And if anyone is up for sharing bulk cleaning products I would be interested in that! I live *very* close to peoples.

People's is on my list. I keep hearing that name pop up and have been meaning to check it out.
Sandra - I'm actually photocopying pages from a book called Clean House, Clean Planet by Karen Logan as I type. It was recommended on MDC as was a book called Better Basics For The Home by Annie Berthold-Bond. I checked both out from the library and highly recommend them!
