Detroit Area Mamas Coffee Night, Tuesday Sept 23

Hey, there Mamas!

:) Since we had such a nice chat last night, I thought I'd plan the next one!

The 18th and 25th are the Holly and Lake Orion Clothes Swaps, so I couldn't make it on a Thursday. SO, I am pulling for a Tuesday this go-round.

My kids' devouring of Chipotles seemed to trigger something in me, and I am craving a fahita burrito...so HOW ABOUT Chipotles this time? Maybe it'll be nice enough for one more dinner on the patio? (crossing fingers)

Honestly, Jennifer, it's one of the reasons I plan them...because my schedule tends to be so full, it can be hard for me to make it if it's not on one of a couple of specific days a month when I'm "free" to go out. I REALLY cannot do it on Fridays or Mondays, and I know a couple of them were planned for those days, and generally, Tuesdays aren't stellar because I do makeups and doula visits those days.

Yes- I will try to be there. It's hubby's school night, so I may come as a combo this time... we'll see as the day approaches. I had so much fun the other night with all you mamas, and I'm looking forward to another coffee night.

So, I come out of hiding and I get all excited that there's a coffee night soon. But, oh, no, guess what? Tuesday is the day that DH teaches an evening class. Pleh.

Hey! Okay so I didn't "really" make it to the last time at Noodles, although... I did. So here's what happened. We were just settling in to our new city, not even in our new home, and we wanted to check out Noodles. Well, it happened to be the same night as your guys' meetup but we wanted to have a low key night so we just "observed" from the sidelines. lol So if you remember seeing a blond lady w/a middle eastern/hispanic looking guy at a table w/a 2 yr. old boy & a 7 month girl - both with lots of hair - that was us. :) I actually spoke w/one of you in line about your cookie(s) you bought when we first walked in. I really liked your wrap, by the way, but I don't know who you are! lol So sorry for "stalking" you but I'm hoping that we can make it to actually sit w/you guys at Chipotle this next time. If not both of us, maybe just me? We'll see. We've eaten out a lot lately - just got food for our house yesterday - so we're trying to cut back, but we'll see. Sorry the post is so long & hope to officially meet you soon. :) Ruth

If we come, my 2 yr. old ds will be there as well as my 8 mo. dd. I think she may be getting a cold, but it may just be teething. All day she's sneezed clear boogies but is definitely popping some teeth & has no other symptoms. Should I keep her home, or if we keep her from other kids do you care if she still comes? I didn't know your policy on that...

Wow, what a great response. Thank you. I have since looked & see 2, possibly 3 or 4 more teeth coming in (bulging) besides the 4 that just came in so I'm pretty sure that's the deal. I'll play it by ear, and I think we're gonna come to Chipotle instead of coffee this time so we should see you around 7 or as close to it as we can do!

Yeah I think I'm gonna say no. Addi still hasn't slept much, and just looks like she's not having too much fun. I know she won't enjoy a long car ride twice this evening while not feeling good. :( So... we'll try again! When is the next one? Is there a thread for it?
