Homeschoolers? Childcare needed! (N. Burnaby, Off Forest Grove, near SFU)
Hello!!!!
My husband and I both work from home. We have a 4 year old son who we're planning to homeschool. He's gentle, happy, and easy to get along with. We really, really need some help watching him but don't like any of the centres we've looked into -- not that any of them seem to have spots, even if we did like them.
We could use help for 2-3 (or more, possibly) hours each day (excluding the week-ends, possibly -- we're flexible about hours). It would be great if you have a child somewhat close to his age so that they could play together. In that case, swapping care may work out great for everyone involved.
We are looking for a safe and loving environment for our son. We're open to having someone come here to watch him, or taking him somewhere that is not too far from here.
My husband and I are both professionals. I'm finishing my PhD (in philosophy, writing my dissertation on philosophical parenting) and starting up a family-related organization and my husband is a software developer. We're vegan (which you don't need to be) and secular (ditto).
