TMI but need to ask..

Not sure where to post this one but I thought some of you ladies might have the answer I`m looking for.

I`ve been checking my cervix since we started TTC a few months back. Right around the time AF is due I usually have a pimple-like bump on my cervix. It`s tender to touch but otherwise not painful. I don`t notice it any other time during my cycle only towards the end. I also had this when I got pregnant but later it disappeared so I completely forgot to mention to my OB. The pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.

I`m at the end of my first cycle after the m/c and I`ve just noticed the lump again. I don`t have another OB appointment until the October 6 and I really don`t want to go unless I have to.
Do any of you have experience with this? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi. I have personally not experienced what you are talking about, but I believe it is called a nabothian cyst (not sure of the spelling). Toni Weschler talks about this in her book and if I remember, correctly, it is completely and totally normal for some women. Sorry I can't offer you more info, but that's what I remember from her book. Hope that helps a little. Good luck!

Yes, it does help. Thank you very much!! I also think it must not be that big of a problem b/c it comes and goes. If it`s something serious it must always there, right?
