Doc suggested waiting 2 or 3 cycles. I'm about to ovulate by the end of the week. I'm not anxious or emotionally upset at this point, but I am SO excited by the possibility of getting pregnant again. What would you do? ??? I'm not getting any younger....

Hi Vanessa,
I agree; people usually do not get any younger. If I were you,I would go ahead and try. I had a stillbirth on July 5th and got my first period on Aug. 30th. Ovulated in Sept. 15. BD when the reccomendations from the doc was to wait 6 months. So basically, the reason I chose to ttc again so soon is because: one, I wasn't getting any younger, two, I really long for a baby and to feel pregnant and be pregnant again, three, there were no 'real' supportive evidence stating that I shpuld wait, four, I was mentally healed and ready!
Hope this helps.
I'm stuck in the 2ww now and guess what? I don't even think I am pregnant.
Remember, you won't get pregnant unless your body is ready.

Well, I'm in the 2ww now, so we'll see. I had very little ewcm, which is unusual for me, and we didn't wait the recommended 3 or so cycles (just waited one) so I don't know what any of this means, if it means anything at all. I'll let you know in about 10 days when I test!

Hi ladies - just wanted to say Hi after reading your posts and say I'm in the same boat and offer more support! Waiting, waiting, waiting, but not as long as doc said. (I had a stillbirth at 26 wks, mid-July... 1st AF came early Sept. we barely tried this cycle, but I'm very curious to see what happens....) I completely agree we're not getting any younger (I'm 31) and am feeling healed, at least enough to try again!:thumb
