Reproductive Endocrinologist/ "phantom Hcg"

I am being sent to a RE. What can I expect? What are your experiences?

I thought I would be ready to TTC next cycle, but my beta Hcg is not going down... my OB called it "phantom Hcg"

I am working REALLY hard on being patient... but i am tired of being a "patient" and want to be a mommy to living children!

For the first visit, the Dr asked a lot of questions, then did an u/s to see the uterus, ovaries, etc. He ordered blood work for myself and my husband. Then I had another u/s and a HSG done.

He gave me a prescription for Clomid, told us to call on Day 1 of my next cycle, then I would come for Day 3 labs and then be told when to take Clomid.

It was about a 90 minute appt the first time. The Dr was really nice and very reassuring.

So how did things go?
