Vancouver moms: How much to pay a Mother's Helper?

Hi there, I am about to interview a 14 year old high school student who will come over and play with my 11 month old son while I do some work, clean etc...
Not sure what is a fair wage to pay...any advice? I live on the Westside.

We pay teen sitters around $8 per hour. Since you're going to be home it may be different. I would ask her how much she charges and go from there.
