Could I be ovulating already?

So, here's the deal. I had a tubal pregnancy ended on the Sept 24th with methotrexate (sp?). I had spotting the day of and the day after the shot. Then on the 29th I started what can only be described as a light period. It wasn't as heavy as they usually are, but that could be due to the fact that I had a d&c 2 weeks before the methotrexate when I thought I was miscarrying (it basically took 2 weeks to realize that it was a tubal and not a regular pregnancy). Usually my periods (when I have them) last 6-7 days. This was 4 days with a little spotting for 2 days after. So here's my issue. My DH and I were planning on waiting 2 months to ttc again, but after not having sex for a good month and a half, we ended up dtd yesterday.....twice. So today I took my temp like normal and it dropped a good degree from yesterday and this afternoon randomly took an ovulation test which looks pretty dang positive to me! Could I really be ovulating so soon or do you think it could just be from wacky hormones? I'm kinda freaking out a little! Any help would be wonderful!

I am sorry for your loss. I know it is not easy.

Yes, you may be ovulating, but you also may have leftover hormones from your pregnancy.

My baby died end of June and it took two months/two periods before my cycles seemed to be back to normal. (My doctor wanted my husband and me to wait at least three cycles before trying.) As much as I wish I was pregnant again, and I am sure you are eager, too, make sure you are physically ready as well as emotionally ready.

When i asked the mw i was told i could get my period back as early as a few days later - and 8 days after completing the m/c, i think i may be ovulating, too. so yes, it may be possible to conceive already - take care of yourself, mama.

I ovulated on CD 17 after my miscarriage last month. I normal O around CD 14 or 15, so only a couple of days later. I had fertile cm, fertile CP, and my temp went up to confirm. My m/c was early - 5w1d - but it is definitely possible to O fairly soon after a m/c.
