My ds has pretty bad teeth in general, which is relatively common for being premature. I think we started brushing a bit late as well, which I'm sure has contributed somewhat, exacerbated the problem to say the least.
Anyway, he has an area of decay between his top two front teeth that has been partially filled (dentist couldn't get it all w/o ds freaking out). A bit over a week ago, ds fell and hit his mouth on the floor. His mouth bled a bit between some of his teeth, both top and bottom.
This week, I've noticed that one of his top front teeth is discoloring beyond what I'd expect from further decay. Is it possible that this tooth is dying? If so, do you have any idea what the recommended treatment is for this? Will they want to pull it and put in a spacer? Pull it and leave the space? Let it die and fall out?
