I just posted this on Lonely Planet then I realized that Mothering is always such a good place to reach out for answers and support. Has anyone been to Buenos Aires?

Tango Mama needs help and advice
Hi Everybody,
I realize that these questions are covered in the tree but my little two year old adds a bit of a twist on to the equation.
To begin at the beginning.
I am a previous Tango dancer and teacher who has been out of the loop for 3 years due to motherhood. I now wish to get back into Tango on the next level by living in Buenos Aries for at least 6 months.
If my budget is $700 to $1000 (dollars American)/month. Can I live in BsA sharing a two bedroom with a Tango friend, paying for a Nanny while I go to Tango classes/Milongas, paying for classes and Milonga admissions, buying some good dance shoes and eating healthy? I wouldn't be doing any travel outside of the city but I would like to do a little bit of touristy stuff and going to little kid stuff.
How much is a small two or three bedroom apartment? Where should we live? My dance partner wants a mellow quiet neighborhood. I would like a down-to-earth neighborhood with folks with young kids and near a playground/park. Obviously public transport is important to us. AC would be nice too. How much would we save with furnished vs. unfurnished. Hell, if there isn't a rug, unfurnished would be better for dancing. Maybe an old table and chairs and mattresses all around would surfice.
I read a little bit about the group tango hostils but are any of them child friendly?
I am an attachment-parenting single parent. My daughter and I are very bonded. Uprooting her to another place will be difficult for her but all is fine as long as I am there for her as her rock. Someone told me that Nannys and the child often travel with the mother as she does what she wants to do. Has anyone seen this or know anything about it? How much would a Nanny be? Where would I look for one? Are there any jr pre-school type places where she could bond with a regular group of little ones? How friendly is BsA to kids? Are there playgrounds and activities throughout the city?
My dance partner was telling me about taking Spanish Classes at the University. Instead I would like to have a private tutor so my daughter and I can learn together and be together. Also, since I only speak English and French my vocabulary will be at the same level as hers!! How much would this be? Do you think it would work with a University student?
What teachers, schools and lessons are recommended for a non-beginner tango dancer? I have some connections I will pursue but I am open to all advice.
Do I need a special type of Visa? I won't be working (except as a Mom and a student)
So many questions...!
Thanks.
