Did you do clomid cycles back to back or skip and have a natural cycle in between?

I did five back to back and didn't have any problems other than ther emotional ones.
Other than being a little nutso, it was pretty okay!

I did 5 cycles with one break in-between (due to ovarian cysts), but had no other problems.

thanks for voting you guys :-)
I did further research and found that REs have found clomid causes lining issues if taken for more than 3 months without a break in between.

I wasn't sure exactly what you meant by "problems" but I voted that I had back-to-back cycles and had some problems. I was on clomid for five straight months and didn't conceive, so I guess that was a problem. But I also had major cervical mucus problems--I don't think there was any way I could have gotten pg I was so dried up. I didn't have the emotional problems that many women experience, at least those that I had I attributed to the disappointment of failing to get pg. But I had awful hot flashes, to the point of practically passing out.
I was well aware that I shouldn't have been on clomid for more than 3 cycles, and told my dr that but he pooh-poohed my concerns.

I am on month 3, and will do 3 more months back to back if it doesn't work.
So far, no problems, other than the visual disturbances and 5 kinds of crazy. I think that dosage has a lot to do with it as well. Somehow I am doing really well on 50mg, but my friend who is taking 150mg has very different issues.

I have had no real medical problems from my clomid. I've done 3 cycles (I'm still in the third and hoping!) and it just made me feel crazy and emotional. Kind of like PMS but crazier and longer lasting. As soon as I stop taking the pills I feel emotionally better. After this cycle I am taking a break for a bit.

3 months for me, and that's it. clomid's screwing w/my vision, and this month, it's not going away. VERY creepy. no other effects, though, and so far, no BFP. :irked:

Yep, the vision thing went away after a couple days for the first couple months. Now I am on CD 15, and still have to wear my glasses to be able to see anything. At least the walls have stopped wobbling.

I did 5 back to back clomid cycles and, along with the nasty moods, got nasty ovarian pain! But then, I get that anyway sometimes, maybe because of my PCOS.

Did you do any sort of trigger shot? If so, how much? I'm dying to test early, but I had a trigger shot and tests taken before going back to the RE will just result in a false positive. :(

I had the vision probs too. Freaky! Other than that no problems going back to back. But, I don't have any cycles on my own. So, having a natural cycle wasn't really an option. I had an early m/c on cycle 5. We tried one more, and then did IVF.
