And how is it working for you? What side effects have you noticed? I've been on Prozac once before and it worked well for me, but I don't know if it's safe while nursing. I've also been on Zoloft and didn't like it so well. It didn't seem to be as effective and I had the dreaded sexual side effects. So please talk to me about your anti-depressant. :shy

I've been on Zoloft for both episodes of ppd. First time around, it didn't work. Second time, it has. I do have horrific sexual side effects, though.

I'm pretty sure that all of the ssri's are okay while nursing. You can make an appt. with a pdoc and check. Zoloft could be different this time around, you never know. Prozac is okay, and so is wellbutrin,I think.

Talk to a psychitrist NOT your ob or family doc. They know the meds best.

iam nursing and taking zoloft just started it yesterday soo far iam just tired i still have my sex drive

I'm still nursing and I've been on Zoloft for 14 months, since DD was just over a year... no side effects once I got past the initial two weeks. Those two weeks sucked though!!
