I believe there is an actual pattern to start a Crazy Quilt, does anyone know where I can find it?

Well, i wasn't specific enough, I see, and I have answered my own question! After spending a whole lot of time on the I'net, I found the interlocking method of stitching individual top fabrics to musin to make the blocks. I Googled muslin crazy quilt, and I found a whole lot of other interesting reading.

I am going to try using upholstery samples!

Happy quilting! :
