do I freeze the dough or the baked cookie?

I'm trying to make a bunch of Christmas cookies so we have them for next month in advanced.. The problem is I am sort of a freezer virgin.

I wanted to make these and these but I am unsure if I should freeze the dough or should cook them and then freeze the finished cookies?

thoughts from the gurus?

Mmmm, peppernuts! The others look great too. Well, if you were asking about dough for chocolate chip cookies or something else more common, I'd say freeze the dough for sure. With the ones you want to make I'm not sure, but I'm betting it would be best to freeze the dough. Set the dough balls/whatever on a baking sheet to freeze, then put them in your container or ziplock, whatever you're going to keep them in for the freezer. Be sure to let them thaw before baking. Good luck! Someone is very lucky to get these yummy cookies.

I did already make the chocolate chip and googling that came up with an answer but with these I wasn't able to find any specific suggestions on how to freeze them.. sounds like dough is the way to go unless someone else has a specific suggestion?
