The last two Halloweens we went to the neighborhood that's right next to ours, because they put on a wonderful celebration and invite all the other neighborhoods.

The main road is blocked off so cars can't drive on it (it's where all these beautiful old mansions are), and there's this whole course everyone walks, with numerous safe houses (approved by the neighborhood association) where people are out in their front yards handing out candy.

We're not worried at all about this candy -- and even before we started going to this, we only trick-or-treated from people we knew and trusted so we were never worried.

Oh and my oldest gives me all her Almond Joys too, 'cause she doesn't like 'em and I love 'em!

Beyond removing the ones they'd choke on, nope. And we didn't even get any of those...

Nah, we live in a very rural area in the Bible belt and go to a neighborhood with mostly sweet old people.
