No amount of foot rubbing is going to all of a sudden thwart an otherwise healthy pregnancy. No amount of pressure points will put you into labour if it's not truly time and your body was going to do it anyway.

If you have factors that put you at risk for preterm labour, I might avoid certain areas of the feet, but if you're healthy, it's absolute BUNK that it will put you into labour. Completely and entirely untrue.

Do you avoid spicy food during your entire pregnancy? Certain recipes of cabbage roll? Walking backwards?

Yeah, same thing. Sorry, this issue bugs me as a professional in the industry. I have had many pregnant clients and will continue to and have NEVER had a problem. And add me to that list.

I don't doubt that a foot massage could cause problems. When I was going for fertility acupuncture, most of the places she put needles were on my feet... and many people have had success in boosting fertility through TCM/acupuncture. I wouldn't be comfortable with going for a foot massage either.
