washed hemp inserts with pockets

I washed new hemp inserts with all my other inserts and pockets and now everything is repelling. Will stripping them in the machine do the trick or do I need to do more to make them absorbent again.
I need to make this work today b/c next diaper change I need something for him to put on and I don't want to run to the store to buy a pack of disposies.
Thanks.

My suggestion is to strip your stash with a t of dawn and tons of HOT rinses until you see no suds hopefully that helps get the oils off the rest of your stash.

Ditto. Hopefully that does the trick. I turn my hot water heater up when I strip - just do it safely. : )

Hey, and you can always use an old t-shirt if you get desperate!

Thanks mamas. It worked! I boiled all my inserts and then stripped the covers seperately.
Now when is it ok to wash my hemp inserts with the rest of my dipes?
