How are you connecting to your babe(s)?
I just thought it'd be fun now that we're all getting more regular movement, and at least for me things are in the beginning stages of really feeling like I'm getting to know the person inside, to talk about how you're connecting to the little life inside.
I like to put my hands on baby before I go to sleep and just feel and talk to him/her. Often, baby will respond by pushing back on my hands or giving little kicks/punches. So nice. I love those moments.
Also, the kids have started talking to baby which the baby seems to really like. And when I eat good healthy food, I get nice strong, graceful-like movements.
I get a sense of my baby being calm and sweet, having a beautiful spirit. I love these kinds of feelings I get. I've been right each time before, and it's just amazing to me how you can get to know a person before they're born.
I had a lovely birth dream the other night. It was weird (like all dreams) in that I was sitting on the potty in the hallway, and had to go poop, was having trouble wiping myself, and was about to ask my son to help me (!) when I thought, oh, that feels like it might be a head, and felt down, felt the burn right before they're born, and reached down to pull up this incredibly beautiful little girl. She was larger than I expected and I showed her to my ds and dd and we all thought she was just the most beautiful baby. My cell phone was dead, so I couldn't call my dh or mw to be there, and I thought "why did I let dh go to work today, when I thought it was about to happen?" And then I woke up reminding myself to really trust myself and speak freely to dh to make sure he doesn't miss the birth. I think a lot of that was about my dd's birth, since he and mw nearly missed it because of my denial about how far along I was.
Well, that was more rambly than I thought.

Wowzer, that's some dream! Sounds like your forming a nice realtionship with the new LO.
I'm feeling more and more connected each day. I don't really talk to the baby as much as DH does. I figure she hears me all day long though. I'll start reading to her as soon as I pick up some books I have in mind. I pray for her daily as I rub my belly down twice per day. That's my reflecting and prayer time to put all positive thoughts toward the baby.

I don't think I really formed any *relationship* with DS until he was born. We listened to the heartbeat once we could find it in the sixth month, and obviously you can't ignore the fact that you have a huge blooming belly , but it was all sort of theoretical until I saw him for the first time.
I'm comfortable with that, though.
DS, OTOH, likes to put his head on my tummy and say "Hi baby." It's super cute.

Daydreaming of what she will look like, coming up with names, rubbing the belly, talking to her and thinking about her often.

Hmm. I don't know. I'm happy about the baby and can't wait to see it, but I don't have any sense of what kind of person it's going to be or anything like that. I didn't with DD, either.
My dreams are all too weird to make me feel connected. lol Last night it was that I had changed my mind and decided to find out the sex, so asked the m/w to go ahead and pull the baby out for a look, at which time we determined it was a girl. Then the m/w cleaned a bunch of poop out of her vagina (?) which was on her belly (?????) and I asked her to put the baby back in quickly before DH noticed. Sounds very disturbing, but it was really incredibly silly and made me laugh when I woke up.

lol- that is funny!
I've had a couple of freaky weird ones the last few days as well. Pregnancy dreams are bizarre!

Not very well I'm afraid. Most of the time I am just too tired from chasing the child I already birthed to think about the life growing inside me. But in the wee small hours of morning, or in the still of the night, I feel the thumps and they remind me, hey, I'm one of your children too, get to know me!

That is so normal! Don't feel bad at all. Your baby is still so young and needy. I guess I have a little luxury of more time to delve into my thoughts since my kids are older. Those little thumps and bumps are great, though aren't they?

Sometimes I feel this way as well.
The matter is especially a bit messed up because this Cuatro was quite a surprise to me (yes, I DO realize how this happens... it just hadn't for four years and I guess.. I don't know!) and it's taken a Very. Long. Time. to get used to the idea at all. Honestly, I cried for a week straight. Not with ill feelings towards this baby at all, but just for a life I felt was suddenly slipping away from me (I just got a part-time just outside of the house a year ago and LOVE IT WITH A PASSION.. but it's just not going to work with the way I think tiny babies need to be tended to). So I've had a lot to process and work through. In addition to homeschooling my older two and tending to my three children in general...
I do love the nighttime though when my girls are sleeping. I'll lay in bed and this baby goes nuts for a while... and it just makes me smile
I feel this babe is quite active and has been from the moment I began to feel any movement at all.. and I do think it's his/her way of saying, "Don't forget about me!" ... and there's no way I could. especially because this babe feels quite low!
...
I love hearing dreams... and what others are feeling of their baby's personality. It's so, so beautiful.
I'm pretty sure my intuition is broken I haven't a feeling on gender/personality/anything!!

Same here. Worse yet, with DD I was "positive" she was going to be a boy, so clearly my intuition isn't worth one red cent. lol
