Baby hammock that won't break the bank...

I really want to buy this, but I'm wondering if anyone has seen anythinglike it a bit cheaper.

http://www.csnbaby.com/Hushamok-9421...2-MOK1006.html

I don't want anything plastic that requires batteries but $400 is a lot of cash. I'd love to find something in the $200 range.

Anyone?

I have an AmbyBaby ~ forgot how much it is though. I also really like the one at Nova Naturals, although I don't own one, I would like to

But yes, you can find one cheaper than that!

There are a couple of etsy shops that sell them:

http://www.etsy.com/shop/Robynas These are pretty cheap, but they are just the hammock and hanging ropes -- you would have to find a place to secure the hammock. (If you're near an Ikea, they sell sturdy rings you bolt to the ceiling for their hanging furniture).

http://www.etsy.com/shop/studioleroux This is closer to $300, but it looks like it comes wih all of the hardware you need for hanging.

I also just noticed the one at Nova -- it looks great and has a high weight limit on it too so you could probably use as a swing later on.

The next 2 months are the best time to look and make offers on things as many people need to make cash for Christmas.

We bought a baby hammock on etsy

One of these:
www.robynas.etsy.com

They're pretty affordable. You do need to get some eyelags from a hardware store if you're hanging it indoors but it's done wonders for my little one's sleep and it turns to a swinging seat so the big kids can enjoy it as well.

Please be careful about what you hang baby hammocks from. The friction from the hardware rubbing together when the baby moves can cause little metal particles to wear off and fall on your baby's face (possibly into eyes)
