We made it 5 years

DS #3 has been nursing for 5 year already! The day he first latched on, I knew we would have a long nursing relationship. We've been through so much, and nursing has always made it all better! He's nursed in North America, Central America, The Carribean Ocean, The Pacific Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean, The Gulf of Mexico. In many airplanes, buss's, cabs, trains and boats. He even nursed in a sling while i was running through Mexico City, International Airport! What a life savor! It's seemed like forever, yet...i dont think I'm ready to give up just yet. Ninnie will always be here, when ever he's ready. We've thought about making his birthday his last day to nurse, the days not over yet! Let's see how it goes.

Why stop at 5? He can be the only grade-schooler still nursing!

We didnt nurse at all on his birthday...but today...he had bit of a breakdown and started crying. I asked him what's wrong? And he said "mama, I want some ninnie"....so we nursed and he's much better now!
We will nurse until he's done on his own! That's perfectly fine with me!

That is so wonderful!!! You can keep nursing him, he will only be a day older the next day.
