Took my progesterone a few hours late ???

I normally take my progesterone pill (100mg) around 1pm with lunch. I forgot yesterday, and wound up taking it at about 5:30-ish. Is this okay? I know on progesterone if you start it in 1st tri you have to finish till 2nd otherwise it causes a drop in hormones, but I didnt know if it was silly to worry about a few hours or not??

At any rate, I am considering switching to taking it in the P.M. since it makes me exhausted....

should be fine. I remember once I was so exhausted I fell asleep on the couch all night and didn't take it.. woke up panicked. It was fine. I always took it before bed.

The effects of progesterone supplements are cumulative over time so even if you miss a dose, the levels should not vary too much.

I'm surprised that I am supposed to take 100mg twice a day since you only take yours once. Plus, we tested my progesterone and it was fine at 4w4d, but before we got the results back my OB said I could take progesterone b/c it could only do good/no harm.

I don't take mine at the exact time every day. I take it when I wake up and when I go to bed and they are never the same times.
