Need a cheerleader...I think.
Hi Ladies. I just need a little cheering up and advice. Am I out for this month (again )??
Today is 12dpo and tested this morning (fmu) with FRER and got a BFN. I was so hopeful for this cycle because we had great timing and confirmed ovulation with CM, temp, and positive progestrone levels. My bbs have been sore forever and I've been soo tired this week.
FRER seem to be everyone's standard on here and pretty acurate. I always have a 15 day LP, so a positive would have shown up by now, right?

you are definitely not out. You might only be 11 dpo or less... temping is pretty exact but sometimes people have slow rise and the crosslines are not PERFECT... either ways I got my BFP at 14dpo.

There are even cases of people not getting a bfp ever! Wait until a few days after AF is due, and if nothing shows up on a pg test, seek out a blood test.

i agree that you could be 11 dpo. with DD, my LP was usually 11-12 days and i got a BFN at 11 dpo. and she's about to turn 2! it is totally normal to not get a BFP until after AF is due - some perfectly healthy embryos produce more or less hcg than the average, which is the only reason for earlier/later BFPs and doesn't mean anything is wrong.
also, check out this from FF - in the 93,000 charts they looked at, the average first BFP was at 13.6 dpo. you're definitely not out yet!

I got a BFN at about 12-13 dpo w/DS who is now 3 1/2, so you're definitely not out for the month yet!

I got a BFN on a FRER at 13 DPO and with a different test got a BFP. The sensitivity of the tests can vary from test to test. I had a blood draw that same morning and had an HCG of 46. You're still in!

Thanks ladies! I really needed a boost this weekend and all the responses were very helpful. I think the frustration of the process and the complete let down of the stark whit bfn just got me down. Thanks for helping keep my chin up
I am staying positive, and waiting for AF d-day!!
