I'd like to make soap! :)

Can anyone get me started? I'm hoping to make a good ol' hand-cut homemade soap for all the girlies in mi familia for Christmas this year. They all need a little ***CRUNCH***!!

A little while ago on Oprah Martha Stewart came and showed how to make decorative soaps. Maybe on either web site you could find how to make it. I know you need moulds and solid glycerin and you had colouring.

Hope that helps

whoops...I forgot to be more specific. I forgot about melt and pour. I meant I wanted to make vegetarian soap bars totally from scratch.

Thanks, though! I even have that "good things" book with the soap in it. I assume that's the same thing.

this site is great and has tons of wonderful info. I make my own soap and some of the other moms here do as well so feel free to post any questions or tragedies you may have.
