Hi ladies,

I wanted to grow some organic strawberries using the topsy turvy planter and was wondering where I can find organic strawberry seeds online. I tried googling, but I could not find any sites that sell them. If you know thank you in advance!

Seeds? No. Try searching for strawberry crowns.

LocalHarvest.org has an online store with all kinds of organic seeds and plants. Try them.

If I were you, I'd just see if I could get some runners from a friend who gardens organically. Is there someone near you with a strawberry patch? Try freecycle or something?

I bought 4 strawberry plants last year and they turned into over 50 plants by the fall! Strawberries send runners and reproduce like crazy! I transplanted about 25 of my plants and gave the rest away for free on Craiglist. Ask around to see if any of your friends have a patch, I'm sure they'd be willing to share a few plants with you.
