Well, this is my fourth year gardening; and my least successful one.
My garden seems to be overrun with bugs this year. I think that I mostly have japanese beetles and grasshoppers. I feel like giving up!
Would it be beneficial to not grow anything next year for harvest and just plant something that the bugs wouldn't eat? Would they die off? Could that be good for the soil, maybe too? If so, what would I plant? I am in Eastern Ontario.
Any other suggestions would be helpful, of course, too!
