Hi all,
I have some red sweet peppers and on all of my
plants starting on the bottom leaves of the plants
they are getting this black layer. I thought mabey it
was a mildew or something, but it will not rub or wash
off. Besides the black stuff the plants look healthy ( the
leaves that turn black seem to look ok too, not wilted)
I was wondering if anyone has some ideas of what this might
be.
Thanks
Racheal

I'm going to bump this up because my peppers have this too! I live a couple of hours from you (Charlotte). My plants are flowering and growing but this black stuff is near the stem at the base of the leaves. Mine hasn't moved to the leaves yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated, I am so looking forward to fresh peppers!
