We are in the market for a tractor to do some of the mounting work around this budding homestead and I've practically gone cross eyed. I don't need anything big for pulling large equipment, really it would mostly be mowing. I would like to be able to attach a scoop onto the front and I think that means hydraulics? We only have 3 acres and only about 1.5-2 of it needs to be mowed. We do have long period of wetness (standing water during and after big rains) and a couple of steep spots that need horsepower and traction. Any suggestions for a good candidate new or used? Brand preferences? Bad experiences? TIA
