My DH and I have been seriously considering starting our own CSA. We live in the south. in a city and there is def. space to be found so I think we could rent some space and slowly grow as we got a handle on things.
We do have experience growing. Not a ton, but we have done our garden for awhile now and my husband has been in the green industry (ie landscaping/hardscaping) for about 10 years now.
We both have a passion for sustainability and food.
What I am looking for is some experience to hear of or even a lead on a mentor or sourts in getting something of this nature off the ground.....we have no CSA's here at al and would be getting in on the beginning of what I expect to be a growing trend in our area.
We did live in Colorado recently and were members of a CSA there and were def. participating in the whole slow food/local food thing going on there and want to see it start to grow where we are now.
