I have heard that both boiling water and vinegar work to kill weeds - in this case in the middle of a gravel driveway. Has anyone had success with either of these, both? Do I need to use both? Any other natural methods? I assume I will have to treat the driveway several times over the summer.
Last summer I tried salt with a vinegar spray. It worked a bit but not completely, so I need to re-treat again this year. Salt is a good one for areas where you never want anything to grow (such as in the driveway), but don't use it in/near planting beds because it's considered permanent.
I know... The main reason (besides pesticide reduction) that I like using it is because I love playing with a minnie flame thrower.
