This is my first year gardening (a few veggies, herbs and flowers).
The last couple of days have been over 100F with about 20% humidity. Most years it is this hot from mid-June to early-Sept.
All my plants are about to keel over. I keep them well watered, but they just can't take it.
Any tips on gardening in hot climates?

Dont over water, that is a common mistake in hot weather gardening. Plants that are wilting are doing so to conserve water, they kind of shut down completely and wont absorb it either.

water in teh morning and in the evening. Cut back plants that can be pruned back. For example the plants that have bloomed out can be pruned back so that they have less foliage to support.

I did this today with some basil.

Hope this helps.
