I don't know how to spell this so I'll spell as it sounds, Have you ever tried Edymomies? They are a japanese bean. I really think they are just a green soybean.

Anyways you pick them when the bean is plump in the green pod, boil them in salt water and shell them as you eat them. They are soooo good!

I used to get them as an appetizer at sushi places till my dd developed a soy rash.

I dont bother growing them in my garden as the field in front of my house is loaded with soybeans and we have an allergy. Sigh!!!


But yes, i have grown many many unusual plants in the garden. One of the nicest was a clitoria ternata. Imagine why it is called that!!! Beautiful flower!
