My onions the past week or so have been covered by these tiny black insects. They don't look anything like the aphids I'm used to, which are usually white/green. They're not nearly as covered as they were earlier in the week, I've gone out several times and sprayed down the plant with water to shake them off. But only this one box of onions has them, none of the other do.

Anyone know what these are?

Yeah! I guess they really are aphids. Usually I only get the green ones in my garden, so I wasn't sure. Guess I need to go get some ladybugs.

Spray them off with a hose and then make 1 drop soap/the rest water in a spray bottle. Shake it and spray your onions with soap water mix. Do this when the sun isn't on your plants. Will work until you get some lady bugs.
