I just bought a ginkgo seedling from an online store. It's about 6 inches tall, just a baby. It came in one of those plastic things that stores sell flowers in. Does anyone know if I can transplant it into a small pot? I don't want to kill it! It's a gift for someone who will know how to care for it (I don't) but I'd like to put it in a pot to give it to her. Any advice on how to keep it alive for a week and a half before I give it as a gift will be greatly appreciated!!
