I had my upper lip waxed on Saturday - something that I will never, ever do again and now I've got red bumps.. like little tiny pimples that are annoying me.  How do I get rid of them??

Ouch!  I've never had my lip waxed but I can imagine the pain!  I do have electrolysis done on my lip (numbed with EMLA cream) and a trick I've used to reduce the redness is to apply ice to the area.  That might bring some of the inflammation down.  I also find that the more I touch the area, the more it tends to develop the bumps so keep the area clean (witch hazel works well and reduces inflammation as well) and DON'T TOUCH IT!!!!  LOL I'm yelling because I really have to force myself to quit touching it LOL.  You could also apply some Polysporin (Bactroban is better but not available over the counter everywhere) just in case the bumps are from bacteria.

The woman who threads my eyebrows applies witch hazel afterwards and that seems to help reduce redness so it might be worth a try? Otherwise I'd try a little tea tree oil.

This happened to me once after going to a different salon- my eyebrows were so sore. Now I just do sugar waxing at home- water, sugar, lemon juice and voila!
