Specifically, my flow is very (VERY) heavy for 1-2 days each cycle (I can go through a super overnight pad every 1-2 hours for about 1/2 a day.
And then, naturally, on the other end of the spectrum, I typically have spotting for 3-7 days before my period even starts (though I think I'm starting to figure out that may be diet related...)
Any suggestions on where to start? Thank you!
(PS I know some women love the menstrual cups but I tried it & it didn't work well for me... Though it'd be a ton more convenient!)

Which menstrual cup did you try, out of curiosity? Another brand/style may work better for you. Let me know if that's something you're interested in exploring, and I can help you determine which might be your best bet.
As far as cloth pads for heavy flow, our night pad has a lot of coverage and is pretty popular among women with heavier flows. You can view all of our heavy flow pads here. If your flow is super super heavy, you can also use sea sponge tampons in conjunction with a pad to slow the flow a little bit.
I had a lot of spotting for a while too, and I typically used a day pad holder on my spotting days. It's very thin, and I could add in an insert if I needed additional absorbency.
Of course, you'll still need to change your pad frequently on your heavier days, but at least you won't be throwing money away every time you need to change your pad!
Hope this helps :)
