I have the EWG app on my phone, but I'm looking for some actual experience with some of the products.  I have bought from the list and found things either greasy, or hard to put on.

So, spam me with your favorites!! Hit me with links!

Not sure what the app has, I found this information from the Environment Working Group ratings of sunscreens helpful: http://www.ewg.org/2013sunscreen/best-sunscreens/best-beach-sport-sunscreens. The ratings seem to cover sunscreens for people of all ages, but this article focuses on sunscreens for kids: http://www.ewg.org/enviroblog/2012/07/pick-best-sunscreen-kids. coolshine.gif

EarthLandia products has a fantastic natural bug repellent and sunscreen.

Yeah, the app has all the same info as the site - ratings and such.  But I was hoping for some real life experience. Like texture, how often you felt like you had to apply it, smell... which aren't in the app. :)

We are currently using the Blue Lizard Baby SPF 30 sunscreen - it's zinc based but not as greasy as Badger, which we previously had.  It is kind of drying so I have to use more lotion on DS after bath, etc.  I've also used the BabyGanics mineral sunscreen stick and was pretty happy with it too.

For bug repellant, we bought the BabyGanics kind and haven't really had to use it yet so I don't know how well it works.

I recently started using this:

http://www.rei.com/product/850114/all-terrain-aquasport-sunscreen-spf-30-3-fl-oz

I bought it because it's water resistant, which is really important to me. It lasts for a good amount of time, but it's also really oily, which would be the only complaint I had for this product.

Ava Anderson Non-Toxic!

The BEST and the SAFEST, and we guarantee it (and EWG agrees...we are in their top for 2013 sunscreen guide this year, for the second year in a row!). The sunscreen comes in a cream and a stick form and is NON-nanoparticle zinc oxide with uva/uvb protection - that's the only thing you want to be putting on your children (and yourself!)

The Ava bugspray is simply amazing...deet-free (of course), based on catnip, smells great and doesn't stain! I know the full product line inside and out and was a long-time customer before I joined as a consultant. www.AvaAndersonMA.com or message me!
