Effective Skincare?

Hi fellow moms, has anyone noticed their skincare products kind of stopped working after getting pregnant? I'm really not sure what's going on with my skin, and really appreciate a second opinion!

So after all that didn't work, I'm eyeing this new brand called Vain Pursuits. They make products for you, custom made and everything. Some of my friends all said good things about it, has any one tried?

Nope I have been making my own. A little honey and lemon is a great wash!

Effective Skincare not start with skin care products. A balanced diet is an essential recommendation for healthy and vibrant skin.To keep skin well-protected and nourished one should focus on the foods that are good sources of the Vitamin C,E,beta-carotene,selenium and omega–3 fatty acids.

We use superfatted tallow soap for washing. I make ours but it's often sold as "shaving soap" especially in boutiques. How often we use it we have to gage by what our skin is doing. I also use a lot of tinctures, especially in summer, as I have many herbs in my garden. So we wash more or less frequently and use other options such as warm or cold tinctures in between. So it's not that our products stop working it's that they aren't needed at that time.

In addition to the comments made by the PP. A positive attitude and enough sleep also.

It is really important to know your skin type so you can use the appropriate or proper products that match your type. Mild soap and mild facial creams are the best for me it leaves my skin smooth, soft and clean. I also applied sunscreen every day to protect my skin from the heat or sun damages. Don't sleep with make up on and remove it with a natural facial wipes or wash it before going to bed.
