Mickey and his rodent friends have moved in. They are adorable and I don't want to terminate them. We live in the city so catch and release seems pointless. We've searched all around the ouside of the house but the opening they are entering through must be well hidden or microscopic. Does any one know if those electronic gadgets that produce a sonic disturbance work? I've seen them at the hardware for $20. Seems reasonable if it does the trick. I need to move fast as I've seen babies and they seem to be bolder than the adults. I don't want any unexpected holiday guests.

mice do not like peppermint oil
they also do not like steel wool
stuffing cracks, holes, spaces and sprinkling a few drops of p. oil have stopped the mice from visiting my kitchen (yuck)

look for droppings. look under the sink. i had to stuff some holes around the pipes. they dont need much space to get in. my mice were coming in thru the cellar, under the kitchen sink and then behind the cupboards, up the back of the stove.... i found more evidence after a few weeks and stuffed more steel wool at the back of the cupboard.

hope there are no creatures stirring at your house christmas eve!
