I've been reading about the nasties found in tap water and was thinking about going a step further than the Brita in the fridge. Have any of you tried a filter on your shower head? If so, what brand is it and where did you buy it? Also are there better brands than others for tap filters?
We did some light research on filters and decided on Aquasana. I really would have liked to have bought the "whole house" filter, but on top of the costly price, you need to have a licensed plumber install it
SO - we purchased the shower head and drinking filter. We did have to buy a separate shower attachment so that we could drop it into the tub and fill the bathtub for the little ones. It works awesome and I have to say, we all feel such a difference in our skin and hair. Also, I LOVE that I don't smell the chlorine from our city water!
Hello,
We have the Grohe Blue filter tap. Had it for a year, and very happy with it! It's a bit expensive, but I'm sure we've saved it already compared to the price for the filter cartridges for jugs!
Thanks
